Tucker : Class of 2022

You may do a double-take when you see Tucker as you scroll below. He and his older brother look incredibly similar! Tucker has had an incredible summer, getting to some serious games contending for State Baseball for Norwalk High School and getting ready for his senior year, with some travel mixed in. Though his mom taught ELA, this student loves Math best and he’s heading for marketing, specifically of athletic shoes or as close to that field as he can get!

We started downtown before heading to his favorite field of the baseball persuasion. :) Enjoy scrolling!

For someone who, when filling out their questionnaire said that he couldn’t live without sports, it was definitely fitting we finish our time together at the ball field. We were clearing the pitcher’s mound of tires & tarps, uncovering the deep red clay and it was as if we were uncovering hallowed ground. Let me rephrase: We were uncovering hallowed ground. I was educated on how tenderly to put my weight on the clay while photographing Tucker on the mound so as not to disturb the red “gold”-so valued is it to have a clay mound. This summer, for me, has been a lot of things, and one thread that keeps weaving back and forth is the sacredness of the sport of baseball. I was truly honored to be photographing Tucker in such a special place for him!

Tucker: When you need business tips & tricks for social media beyond the class next spring, and you’ve surpassed your masters degree with the next incredible athletic shoe to hit the market, let me know! I would be happy to partner with you! Until then, rock your senior year, enjoy fall ball to its fullest & I’m so excited to have you in my classroom come January! :)

Best,

Mrs. Krupke
