John : Class of 2025
“Mrs. Krupke! I have to show you a few images I took just on my phone the other day. It’s like an itch I have to scratch - this taking pictures stuff…” I don’t usually encourage a senior to have their phone on them during their session with me, but this was a reason to have it that I could get behind!
John has had Photo 1 & 2 on his schedule and he’s a quiet demeanor that I wasn’t ever sure if he was enjoying his time in my classroom because he is just that quiet. But, catch him outside of school, and he’s all smiles and excitedly sharing about the latest images he’s created! To skip the heat wave, we changed his session time to the early morning hours, just after a storm blew through, casting a grayish blue haze over everything - including skin tones. A photographer’s challenge, but definitely not worst nightmare. :) We made good with it and the skies parted just enough to give us some epic landscape views to include for John - scroll down to check it out!
See what I mean!?
The excitement John had for this lovely green pullover was only just closely rivaled by his excitement for photography…. ;)
John - Thank you so much for enjoying my class and this photo shoot! I wish you all the best on this senior year coming up. I know you will go far with your observant nature and calm demeanor that serves others around you well.
Take care!
Carrie
