I remember walking into Nick + Elaine’s home years ago and photographing their oldest, Carson, as a 4 month old, sitting in a Christmas present wrapped box under the Christmas tree. He now towers over me, matches Nick in height and is too cool to touch Elaine in family photos. ;) Welcome to 8th grade! Every session with this sweet family, the boys will find something to hang or leap from. Usually, it’s a tree and it causes green casts on their skin, so I was super pleased to use the Art Center as a backdrop and ensure even skin tones for their annual hanging “ninja” images. And when you’re ranked in the top 15 in the nation in your age category for Ninja competition, it’s an honor to photograph Carson in this way! Fresh off a trip to Vegas/LA area for the Ninja Nationals, here is Nick & Elaine’s family:
