Class of 2021 : Grant
As I photographed him during his team’s run for the State Championship in March, I couldn’t help but think that Grant has such a unique position….and an handsome baby face! :) He is the head coach’s son for Norwalk’s 3A State Champs and his calm demeanor would put anyone around him at ease. A natural at posing and rolling with my crazy ideas and his Mama’s impeccable styling assistance, Grant was a joy to photograph at BOTH of our sessions together. Read on!
I used the image below as a sneak peek and shared that the last time Grant was here, his team was winning the 3A Championship game and the world was shutting down around them. I’m so thankful they got to play, WIN, & celebrate!
When we did our first session, school facilities were closed to the public, so we waited until after July 1st to get access to the gym and stadium. I’m growing as a photographer with my comfort levels with off-camera flash, and I’m so thankful that Grant was willing to be patient with me as we tried a new approach to NHS’s gym:
Grant (& Chris & Jenn): Thank you so much for allowing me the honor of photographing you! You have a beautiful family and it’s been so fun working with all of you. I’m so glad that my circle of friends just grew a little bit bigger! Grant-you will be an amazing asset to the medical field! I wish you all the best this year and feel free to stop by my classroom to keep me posted on your college decision progress. :)
All the best,
Carrie
