Morgan : Class of 2020
Most of the time, I know my seniors prior to our session together but Morgan is an exception. She’s one of Gerard’s Advisement (Homeroom) students who happened to strike up a conversation about the photos in Gerard’s office and one thing led to another and here we are! As I asked Gerard to describe Morgan to me he made it clear that she makes her opinions clear, concise and business-like. She knows what she wants and what she has to do to get there-very clear headed and to-the-point. So it came naturally to discuss location and outfit options with her and her consultation session to pick her favorite images was done in exceptional time! I’m fairly certain we broke a record with number of digitals created in the Carrie Krupke Studio: 1,158!! Whew! Without any further adieu, here is Ms. Morgan in her favorite images:
We headed out of downtown and into more nature settings and while I’ve been shooting at Maffitt Reservoir often this summer, I love that it can always look different! Especially when it came to the tree trunk in the water-”sometimes a great shot is just two steps to the right” as one of my wise friends once told me. :)
I’ve always photographed this tree trunk with my subject backlit and Morgan’s night sky was somewhat cloudy so it allowed us to shoot facing the sun and capture the reflection of all the trees behind her! It looks like it was a fall day and the water was as still as a statue:
Morgan: Thank you so much for taking a chance on someone you’d never met before and entrusting this time in your high school career to me. It’s an honor and a privilege I don’t take for granted! I wish you all the best in your senior year and beyond-it was a pleasure “shooting” you.
Blessings,
Carrie
