Ethan : Class of 2017

So, this session was a first of sorts: less than 24 hours after finishing his photos, Ethan was in a hospital bed awaiting surgery to remove his appendix! Thankfully, he's now back at school and back to his normal, cheery self, but goodness sakes Man! Way to give your photographer a palpitation of the heart. I'm sure your mother has other choice words to sum up the whole situation, but I digress...

I first met Ethan as a soft-spoken sixth grader with a trumpet in hand who gradually realized he could play and play well. In jazz band, students gain confidence in performing improv solos and as he entered high school in both jazz and show choir, that confidence/self assuredness grew in a healthy way. Now, facing his senior year, he was sure of when he wanted to get his photos done, but was flexible as to locations. That flexibility lent itself well to meandering around downtown and finding awesome spots!!

Graffiti on the side of a dumpster? Don't mind if we do!

To give Ethan a diverse portfolio, we went from the urban setting to a more natural one and the light was divine!

Ethan +Tracee: Thank you so much for having me! It's been a pleasure to watch Ethan grow not only as a musician but as a young man through our music department. We wish him nothing but the best in the future and thankfully, that doesn't include his appendix!! ;)

Blessings,
Carrie (+ Mr. Krupke)
