Melissa + Kevin

I've had the pleasure of photographing Jaxon since he was turning three and I absolutely love when a family not only returns, but brings extended family for a reunion shoot. It was Jaxon's birthday party weekend and the entire Knoll family was together to celebrate-not sure if they saw having their photos taken as a celebration, a gift to Jaxon, or torture, but we got lots of smiles and laughs nonetheless! :) 

After getting a lot of the big group shots taken care of, we gave the littlest ones a break and photographed the smaller family groupings. Tim & Melly were up first and worked the camera like they were professionals!

Melissa's parents, Nana & Grandpa were up next and after many decades of marriage, I love how they baited each other for those genuine laughs:

Refreshed from their camera break, we brought Amelia and Jaxon back in and kept our fingers crossed that Amelia was in higher spirits than when we began. :) Thankfully, she rocked it! And Jaxon came up with a few poses of his own!

Melissa + Kevin: Thank you so much for returning again and again for all the photo fun/torture! ;) I have a blast watching your children grow up from behind my camera and if they bring me this much joy, I can only imagine the joy they bring you. Keep it up you two, you make and raise fantastic kids!
