Logan: 6 months

We first met in the chill of winter and poor Randi was recovering from 3 hours of pushing followed by a c-section to meet her little man, Logan. Her husband, Ben, lovingly and calmly went about helping throughout that session. Compared to his day job, I'm sure a few cries from his son didn't jar him.

This session was dramatically warmer, happier and Randi was much more herself (even though both versions of her are equally amusing and heart-warming). :) Here is what we captured for Logan's 6 month session where Randi works: Drake University....

Usually, someone's place of work isn't quite as photogenic as you'd like, but Drake's architecture is lovely and after a long week, was the perfect (and easiest!) place to meet.

Drake has a legend of The Kissing Rock. Neither of us were sure of the details of the story, but it has something to do with lovebirds meeting at this rock found at the foot of a huge tree for a secret smooch or for the young man to propose. In Logan's case, we sneaked in some smooches. :)

After a quick outfit change, we tried some new angles a la "Biker Dude"...

After the obligatory mug shot to show off Logan's height, we did some "naked baby" photos before it got too chilly outside. I included the photo after the mugshot of Logan face-down because, sometimes, being a baby is hard!! :)

When it started to get breezy, we brought Mom and Dad in as wind breakers and snugglers...

Randi + Ben: Thank you so much for having me! Logan has grown by leaps and bounds since January, so I can't wait to see those chunky rolls in another 6 months! You guys are doing great-keep up the good work!

Blessings,

Carrie
