Deanne + Bryan

Wow! Have these kids grown and matured in a year's time! Roman & Corban did an amazing job smiling for me and Chloe just worked her ever-awesome magic. :) Deanne has been a great encouragement to me this school year and I always appreciate her empathetic yet straight-forward advice and "I feel ya, girl" camaraderie. I've photographed often at Gray's Lake, but when Deanne suggested near a playground as a carrot for good behavior, we gave the north side of the Lake a shot and I love how these turned out! Thank you for the challenge, friend!

We gave the kids a break and caught a few of Deanne & Bryan:

An added bonus: as long as they got to throw a few rocks, these kids gave me more candid opportunities!

Deanne + Bryan: Thank you so much for having me back again! Your kids are awesome and I love talking swim with Chloe. How fun to watch them all grow and change in the best of ways. Have a fabulous summer and enjoy!

Blessings,

Carrie

Sedelle & Adeline

Oh this girls are so sweet! And their overalls went perfectly with the backdrop Leah introduced me to for our session together. The session was mainly for Sedelle and Adeline, but we snuck in just a few of the whole family since #3 is on the way!

My little bath-time froggy toy made a sneaky appearance in this one! It's always a hit with the general population under age 5. ;)

Leah + Neil: Congrats on #3! If #3 is anything like the two sweet girls you already have, you are in for a treat! I've greatly enjoyed getting to know your family and thank you for the new photo location spot!

Blessings on everything this summer!

Oh how this family is so dear to my heart! I've been photographing them at least since #3 was surprisingly in the oven. And oh, the ride they've been on with sweet Catherine. Last year's session, Catherine didn't say a word to me, hardly made eye contact and barely cracked a smile. Fast forward to this session and her transformation through a lot of hard work, patience and perseverance rewarded me with High 5's, smiles galore and I was even bestowed full sentence conversations. What a darling, fiesty and fun little lady!

Because of their need to be near family, Laura & Eric find themselves preparing to move. Eric will be reinventing his construction business in the Quad Cities (if you need a contractor, I am happy to give you their contact information!) and Laura has found a choral directing position. For their family's reinvention/overhaul, we did individual portraits of not just the children, but Laura & Eric too. Enjoy their sweet family!!

While the kids took a break, we got a few of just Laura & Eric and low and behold, the kids eventually wanted to join the party. ;)

Laura + Eric: As you embark on this new season of your lives, I hope these photos make it onto your new home's walls! I know that together, you two can make anything work. Your family is a beautiful one and I'm honored for the opportunity to photograph you as you step out into the unknown and blaze a new trail. I know our paths will continue to cross and I'm so excited to watch your family grow and change in great ways!

Blessings in EVERYTHING,

Carrie

The Mittman Family

I first interacted with this family for Liz + Sam's wedding back in 2014. Fast forward to 2016, and at 32 weeks pregnant, I photographed Carrie + Mike's nuptials. So imagine my immense pleasure when Carrie contacted me to photograph their family reunion as her sister, Naomi, would be back in the States on a break from missionary work in Romania and the rest of the extended family was getting together! Carrie's mom, Linda, is one of four siblings and there's even a great-grandchild in the mix too. We did just about every familial combination we could think of-enjoy!

Oh this sweet family! They haven't changed a bit over the last 4 years!

Linda & Siblings & Grandma Gladys:

Thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of seeing and photographing your lovely family again! I know the importance of having four generations in one place personally and I hope these photos prove special to you for many years to come!

Blessings to ALL of you!

This family has seen me through so many seasons! It's still hard for me to believe that Natalie was one of my first newborn sessions and I've had the privilege of photographing each of these sweet babies. Change is coming for Carrie Krupke Photography and this family is near and dear to my heart and my business-I'm so thankful for their support over the last 6 years!

It was an insanely bright, hot and humid morning, not to mention rife with bugs. And every bug seems to think Kelsey is a juicy target, so we made for a quick "sitting" pose and then ran for the hills....I mean trail. . .

Kelsey & Greg: Thank you so much for your loyalty and support. That means a lot but what's more-I appreciate and am so blessed by your friendship, parental example and teacher wisdom. Thank you just doesn't cover it, but I hope it feels like something.

Blessings,

Carrie
